Hey Guys,

My name is Jozef Pisko-Dubienski, I am one of the researchers involved in the SkillCraft research project here in the Cognitive Science Lab at Simon Fraser University. I just wanted to take the time to say some things about our first day of running the survey. A big shout out the the teamliquid.net, wellplayed.org and Reddit Starcraft communities and everyone who took the time to tweet about us, checked us out on facebook, or let their friends know about our survey. You guys have been awesome! Already today we have had over 925 replays submitted to the survey and it keeps going strong! Its amazing to see the support within the StarCraft 2 community for us, everyone is giving us great support and as a researcher who spent his summer working to get this project off the ground it was awesome to see it all come together. This is just one day though, if the people who keep supporting us spread the word we will have no problem reaching our target number of replays! Please tell a friend, it doesn’t matter if they are Jinro, tearing it up in the GSL, or a new bronze player who is just starting out, every replay counts! Starting on Monday we are going to try and get you guys more information as it comes in, we will continue to update you and let you know how many people have submitted replays, and we will try and give you some other interesting information as it comes in. Again thank you for all of your support! If anyone has any questions about the project please feel free to give myself (Jozef), Alexander Lee or Dr. Mark Blair an email, our contact information can be found on the about-the-project page. We are dealing with a high volume of emails and comments right now but we will try to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and to the best of our ability. Check back here in the future for further updates as they come along, and add us on facebook or twitter.
